I have used the RPT function often for meteor scatter skeds, setting the
CW speed to anything from 32 to 50 WPM. RPT seems to be dependent upon
the CW speed. It is possible to fine tune RPT to get 15 +/- 0.25 or so
second accuracy between F1 repeats, but I've noticed that RPT seems to be
a bit inconsistent. Not only does it seem to change over a period of an
hour so that every 5 or 10 minutes, I have to fine tune it again, but it
changes when I leave CT and come back to the same file, same CW speed,
same RPT time and everything else. Despite these faults, I find it it to
be the single most valuable feature that Ken has put in CT to date.
I have still not upgraded beyond V8.47. RPT in V8.42 did not work
correctly, 8.43 fixed it. I don't remember the problem, but it was severe.
