   There is nothing in the proposal to obligate anyone to compare scores.

   It is simply a utility... AND it requires the agreement of both stations!
   Your CT will never send your score to anyone else, unless you have put
   their call on the sharing-list.  And you will never see anyone else's
   score, unless their call is on your list also (i.e., if CT receives a 
   score update but you haven't included that station's call, CT won't 
   keep it or display it.)

    So, you have the choice WHETHER you want to share scores during the 
   contest, and WITH WHOM.

Then it better have encrypting. ;^)
