does anyone have a program to generate a master.dta file out of .bin files or ascii files? I have a routine which Ken gave me in 1993 (MM and MMD), it reads version 7 ct .bin files. Unfortunately, I'm coming to the point where I have about 1.5 million QSOs gathered and I'm running out of memory, mainly because it likes to take all QSOs into memory before starting to sort.
