following on from some of the other dvp problems on the reflector, i too
am now experiencing dvp problems.

i have just installed a new dvp board in a new 486-DX 66 computer (irq
7). all seems to be working well but there is no voice being recorded.
during recording (or playback) in CT9, the appropriate boxes in the lower
left corner turn. the appropriate files are being created, and although
there are data in these files, it does not appear to be voice since
nothing is heard during playback. during recording, there are no
signals to provide the usual nice histograms (just a flat line), after
invoking the dvp command in ct. i am using the 'mon' command etc.

i am using a ramdrive and have had a dvp working in another computer for
several years without difficulty, so i am familiar with its operation.

anybody have any suggestions as to the problem.

tnx es 73.
