CT CW fix for LPT!?!

We had a local ham have the same problem, no keying with CT.
WHat was found is that when he allowed his computer to boot to 
Windows, then exit to a dos prompt, CT would not key the radio.
When we setup the computer to boot to a C:\ prompt, all was fine!
Is this a problem for many?? Check it out!
