Thanks for your attention.
I use CT 9 to contesting and I love qsling to the stations I contact in
this activity. To spare work at Bureau's and to do not waste uselessly
cards, I use since the version 6 the program QSL.EXE. From CT9 I convert
the .RES file into a version 6 .RES, after I run CT 6 to create the file .BIN.
Only at this point I launch QSL.EXE version 6 to print my labels, but
especially to keep track of the previous qso's on a band. Making so, when a
station has been contacted on all the six bands, the program stops printing
labels for such a call.
So, where the problem?
I reached a MASTER.QSL of over 10,000 calls and the programs now stops for
lacking of memory. I tried unsuccessful to run it with maximum amount of
memory, disabling all not needed in Atoexec.bat and config.sys. For awhile
thing has cntinued going, but with my last effort in IARU (over 1,000
qso's) the program said "That's enough". Now I am in true trouble and I
don't' know what I can do. May one give me the right suggest? May be the
code of QSL.EXE....I would pay a programmer with the intent to make a
similar program but with no limitation in number of calls worked and sorted.
Sure, you could suggest me to use QSL version 9, but I could not do how to
import the huge Master.qsl in a version 9 one
Besides, using CT pratically for all the CW contest's I can do in a year,
QSL 9 prints also the name of the contest which generates that file .BIN.
For example, if I need to send serial, I choose a WPX contest, if Zone has
needed, I choose of course CQWW contest and so on.
Of course, scoring must be done by pencil, but it's a minor harrass.
I thank in advance all of you who read till this point...and of course all
who contribute to not wasting my calls collecting.
Thankfully .....73 es cul
