[ct-user] New NL section

I have been working on the updated .DAT files for CT with the new NL
(Newfoundland [VO1]
Labrador [VO2]) section.  Unfortunately, it has demonstrated some problems
with the CT software itself.

K1EA and I have been in contact about the problem.  9.28 is on the CT BBS
right now (603-878-1900) which seems to work OK on Field Day, but not some
other contests that will require the new section (like Sweepstakes).  I
have no answer for the CT 8 users, except that *maybe* CT 8.53 (CT86.EXE)
will work (CT386 seems to have problems).

In addition, because of the recent problems with the VE7TCP server, it has
been difficult to post messages about the subject.  One I sent out several
days ago was returned.

In summary:

1.  I will try to post the updated .DAT files tonight or tomorrow (I will
announce it to
    this list).

2.  They *will* cause problems with CT.  Try to get 9.28 from the BBS.
Only use CT86.exe
    from the 8.53 distribution.

If I find out more about the CT software, I'll let you know.
