[ct-user] CT with FT980 and new FT920

Regarding the FT-980.  It has never been supported by K1EA.  Ken and
talked about this directly several years ago.  He was unwilling to
fiddle with the code used for the Ft-980 as it is completely different
than the stuff used at that time by ICOM, and I think, Kenwood.  So he
chose not to support the FT-980.  Too bad, was (is) a pretty nice rig
and I still have one in perfect condition which I have not been able to
part with although I never use it.   I also have the CAT980.  Pretty
