     1. What type of network connector do the cards have, ie,
BNC, AUI, RJ-11, RJ-45, Token Ring?

     2. Are there any other markings on the card itself to
indicate a model number, speed, or type?

     3. Can you find out anything about the type of network that
these cards came from? Specificaly, was it ARCNet,
EtherNet, Token Ring, DECnet, or something else?

     4. What OS are you planning to use with these machines?
Win 95 should automatically detect a standard card, and I
think Windows for Workgroups 3.11 will also.

I have several used Compaq 486-level PCs (Presario 486/33 model 3060)
that have network cards installed (that say DIGITAL on them). The hard
disks were erased clean (by the company who used to owned them I
presume) so there are no drivers for the network cards. The Compaq web
site (includes Digital?) seems to have nothing. Is there any kind of
generic driver for these things that's good enough for CT?

Thanks
