[ct-user] Problem With 5 Character HQ Abbreviations

I am using the newest version of CT, but had noticed this last year
with an older version.

Whenever I entered a 5 character HQ abbreviation (such as MRASZ),
CT would include a garbage character at the end of the abbreviation.
I suspect it is a non-printing character, as the first time it
happened, a smiley-face showed up after the MRASZ (maybe CT was
happy? hi).  The character varied each time it happened.

Last year, the garbage remained in the output files generated, and
needed to be manually removed.

Anyone else see this?
