[ct-user] CTPATH variable

Hi,

I just installed version CT 8.52 on my new computer.

I am a little confused on the purpose of the CTPATH variable.

I understand that placing the path to the CT.EXE program in the PATH
variable makes it easier to run CT.  (i.e. One can run CT just by typing CT
at ANY command prompt).

But what does CTPATH variable do?

I would like to place my logs in a separate directory from the directory
containing the CT executables and Country files.  Is this possible?
