[ct-user] Carrillo File Format 9.65

Don't believe that is right. I'm 99% sure the ARRL wants Cabrillo files to
have .txt file extensions. What they want is at www.arrl.org. CT should
automatically generate the file with your call sign as the file name (when
you do a "writelog" command (i.e. w0tm.log). .log extensions is the file
ARRL wanted BEFORE Cabrillo. There was a problem in CT generating the
Cabrillo .txt file when a / was part of the call but it was fixed earlier
this year. The Cabrillo .txt file should ALMOST be ready to go as-is except
you usually need to add your section by use of a text editor. If you have
comments, operator list, etc. to add, do so with the text editor too. But
always a good idea to look at the callsign.txt file before submitting it.

I guess I'm not paying too close attention here. =)

Is the cabrillo text file in otherwise proper form? The problem probably
relates to rule against using the "/" character in a file name. This would
be true in either DOS or Windows. As long as your callsign is correct in
the Cabrillo report, I believe everything should be ok. Just rename the
appropriate Cabrillo file with your callsign. Also, ARRL wants the
Cabrillo format to have a "log" extension, rather than a "txt" extension.

Ken
