N6RMJ stated that they're using notebooks (laptops) in his installation, so
the solution may not be that easy.  Few 486 notebooks (especially 25's) came
with PCMCIA slots.

Jim is correct, however, that for ISA 486 desktops, you can run Ethernet -
no problem.
