HELLO BOB
THANKS FOR RESPONDING
THE LAPTOPS ARE AS RELIABLE AS YOU CAN EXPECT A LAPTOP TO BE, THERE IS NO
PROBLEM WITH THE NETWORK IT WORKS JUST FINE, I AM USING A 4 PORT SERIAL CARD
OFF OF MY COMPUTER P2 WITH LOTS OF RAM WITH UPS , WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS
DOING THIS
I DO NOT THINK THESE ARE WORK AROUND THESE ARE NEEDED
THE GAB WINDOW IS TO SEND SOMEONE A CONTACT, IT IS VERY CUMBERSOME FOR SOME
ONE TO WALK AWAY TO GET A DRINK COME BACK AND THERE'S NO GAB WINDOW UP WITH
A MESSAGE SO AND SO IN LOOKING FOR YOU ON THIS FREQ, IN A NEW GRID
IT USE TO STAY UP UNTIL THE USER HIT ALT I TO REMOVE IT
YES IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THE ROVERS, THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO SHOW ALL THE
TIMES YOU HAVE WORKED THE ROVER IN ALL THE GRIDS HE HAS BEEN IN ON ALL THE
BANDS. IT WILL ONLY SHOW YOU THE BAND YOU ARE ON
AND YES WE ARE SERIOUS WE HAVE GOTTEN 1ST PLACE LIMITED MULTI SEVERAL TIMES
I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS THE PLACE TO ASK FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO MAKE THINGS
EASIER TO DO ?
IN RESPONSE TO MAKING THE COMPUTERS MORE RELIABLE, MURPHY IS ALWAYS WITH
YOU, THINGS HAPPEN
IF ONE STATION GOES DOWN THAT'S OK, THE REST KEEP ON GOING, BUT WHEN HE
COMES BACK INTO THE NETWORK
HE IS NOW OUT OF SYNC
