See my comments below:

few contacts logs are now out of sync yes I can do the merge but why?

If Ken were to offer some sort of "join and catch up feature", it would
impact the operation of the other computers on the network for a period of
time. Using Ethernet would make this closer to being reasonable, but at
serial port speeds, it would probably be too much of a burden. Also for
little 486 machines, they would probably not let new qsos be added during
the catch up activity.

You're welcome.

good, ct is still not fully windows ready, beta only it does not support
other voice keying programs,

I don't believe that your assertion is correct here. There was a DOS-based
program, written by K8CC's brother if my memory serves me, that would run as
a TSR and use a soundcard . Of course, you don't have a soundcards in those
486/25 laptops so you can't do that anyway. You can however, control an
external DVK type device which works very well for VHF contesting or HF. We
use the MFJ units at V26B for DX contests and I use an old Neltech DVK-100
for VHF. Both of these can be controlled via the printer port of your
computer - even 486/25 laptops.

Being Windows-ready will not improve CT from a purely operational
perspective. It may make it less "clumsy" for computer users that are only
familiar with the Windows interface. Windows is far more prone to failures
than just DOS.

CT is built from the perspective of giving you the least difficult way of
logging QSOS and tracking much of the other information you need
efficiently - even on older computers who cannot run Windows. A 486/100
runs CT real fast.

and we do not need all the features it has but when we use it for our needs
we need it to be a easy as possible

Understanding all the features that CT already has will help you greatly.
