I'm very happy to see this post. To me, this is why answers to problems
should be posted on the reflector for everyone to see rather than private
replies.
I downloaded CTWIN 9.81.002 just before my departure to DU land at the end of
November. I have been running a CT DXPEDITION log since then with no
problems. I started up my ARRL 10 meter contest log and found that when I
worked a US state it did not log properly. CTWIN 9.81 showed each US State I
worked as a new mult, no matter how many times I worked them. For example, in
the first hour or so of the contest I was showing CA in the mult column as a
new mult about 10 times. At the end of the contest my summary did not show
ANY US states as mults. I thought I was going to have to go back and manually
fix the log but by downloading CTWIN 9.84 and opening it using my CTWIN 9.81
.bin file and doing a new WRITELOG everything seems to be fine now. BTW, it
was mentioned the ARRL would score your Cabrillo format properly no matter
what CT displays to you. My 9.81 Cabrillo file was all messed up also. I
suppose the ARRL would fix the score after they received the file but it may
cost some penalties points and besides I would like to see for myself my real
score before I submit it.
In going through my email I do see Ken did announce the release of CTWIN 9.84
back on 12/13. I was already here in DU land, using a phone card to connect
to a very slow ISP, and did not want to change things installed in the laptop
before I left the US if I did not have to. As it turned out I did need this
revision, and I again thank the posting of the problem and the solution.

If you're not using 9.84 that's what you'll see.
The ARRL will score your Cabrillo format properly no matter what CT displays
to you.
