[ct-user] Logging while keying transmitter

That's NOT what I said. I PROGRAM the F6 key for ONLY "?" NOT "cl?"... I
put whatever part of the call I got in the callsign field like: WC4... Then
I press F5 + F6. RESULT= WC4? being transmitted.

> If you type a "?" in the callsign field, it will not only send the ?, it
will also use it as a placeholder when you return to the callsign field.
For example, if you typed WC?H because you weren't sure of the number, and
then hit the space bar to enter the exchange info, the next time you came
back to the callsign field, the cursor would be in the ? position. If you
had to send the call out, it would also send out the ?. I find that to be
easier. In addition the SCP or CP functions use the ? as a wildcard. There
is also a command line switch (which I don't recall offhand) that allows you
to type while calling CQ. Without invoking that switch, as sound as you
typed something, it would stop sending.
