[ct-user] Alternate command works on CW, but not on SSB

I am using an array soulutions S02R Master with two FT-1000MP's, and a
DVP card. The "alternate" command works great on CW, but will not toggle
between radios on SSB.

Have tried versions 9.70, and 9.81 with the same result.

Anyone know the answer to this problem?
