[ct-user] non-crash

Whenever I do  'writelog'  an XP idiot box appears and says "CTWIN.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience". There's an option to send or don't send a report to Microsoft.
The writelog function works just fine, all the files are in the ctwin directory. I've had much bigger logs than this one and have never seen this before.
Any suggestions..??..
