[ct-user] manual

Didn't he say "from Mac to Windows"? Most picture formats are cross
platform. Doesn't sound like a Microsoft issue to me. Besides, what widely
used logging programs are there that are not Microsoft based? The most
popular contest logging programs certainly are, as are most of the regular
logging programs, the PSK programs, mapping programs, etc.
Since Microsoft based, mainly means Windows based (yes it's 2004), then I
have to believe it is the platform of choice (or necessity as the case may
be).
I certainly don't expect CT to be maintained for cross platform usage.
Carl

Pardon me, but wouldn't cross-platform graphics like .jpg or .png be
better than some MS only format? So far as I know, either of the afore
mentioned formats can be viewed on any popular desktop systems (and some
not so popular).
Please, let's not entrench MS any deeper into ham radio in 2004.
Happy New Year to all!

P.S. To do my part, I've used CT with FreeDos on my laptop for Field
Day. You can get it at: http://www.freedos.org This allows a DOS
partition without the possible license violations of MS-DOS or PC-DOS.
