I worked a few stations in the ARRL contest this weekend.
 
When making an entry that IS a dupe, the program does not tell you that
it is a dupe until you have completed the entry ie until you have typed
the state/province, and hit enter.
 
 By then, of course, it is too late.
 
Am I doing something wrong! Or is that the way the program is meant to
work!
 
I would have thought that the program would indicate a dupe after you
have completed the call-sign entry, but BEFORE you complete the
exchange!
 
I will welcome advice on the matter.
