Good day, all:

I have updated my detailed procedure to create a bootable DOS CD.
It is easy to customize the CD to include logging programs,
custom startup scripts, custom programs, etc.. You can also
create a bootable CD from ANY bootable floppy disk. You can
create a bootable CD with literally HUNDREDS of different
bootable DOS systems on it if you wish.

These CD's will boot and run DOS on almost ANY PC-compatible
computer that can boot from a CD-ROM drive.

Furthermore, you can create the CD's completely from a Windows
computer using only free software tools. You don't even need
a floppy disk drive, just a CD burner. This procedure will
show you how to download everything you need from the web.

You can boot one of these CD's and run DOS on a new computer
without modifying ANYTHING on the computer.

If you choose to install FreeDOS, you don't even need an MS-DOS
license. There are FreeDOS and MS-DOS floppy disk images
available on the web.

Let me know if you would like a copy of the procedure. I
want to improve it, so provide comments and feedback.
Also, I would welcome any additions to the procedure
on customizing the CD's, configuring, loading logging programs,
etc..

I am working on DOS on new computers so I can continue to easily
use CT and TR-Log for contesting.

73,

Mark, KD4D
