[ct-user] Freq passing, window size

During our recent HC8N CQWW CW operation, a couple of M/M issues arose
in our use of CT 9.92:

1) Whatever it takes to refresh the automatically networked pass
frequencies for ALT-J, we don't seem to do it very often in our
operation (is it F1 CQ?). The frequency display times out and so
requires extra ALT-G traffic to pass stations from band to band. We can
use the PASSFREQ command, but that needs to be updated manually if we
QSY. It would be helpful to refresh on any F1-F4 activity (which would
include INS and +). Is this possible?

Our network included two stations running TRLog (its author being our
40m op), which had a similar issue that's being fixed.

2) Although we use the mouse to move windows around for best visibility,
the ALT-I gab window is too big to move out of the way. Too often, it
seemed to pop up just when F10 Check Country was being viewed to see if
a mult was needed on another band. Moving mults is a time-critical
function (once they're gone, it's too late), so it would be helpful to
be able to resize the ALT-I window to be a lot smaller, perhaps to fit
on the bottom line or two of the screen. Is this possible?

None of us like the 50-line -VGA setup on a laptop, the only computer
type we've found feasible for our particular environment.

Thanks de Dave, W6NL/HC8L
