Jim might have a solution with the subst command.

You could also make a batch file and an icon on the desktop that
copies the *bin file to a USB memory stick. You would have to
remember to click on the icon.

Another option would be to use a second computer running CT with
Ethernet linking to store the backup.

I just updated to a new computer using Windows XP and the computer
no 
longer has the little 3.5" floppy drive and has no Drive A to use
for 
saving the log as specified in the CT manual....see page 42 "Saving
the 
Log File."  Is there a way to change the CTWIN software to use a
drive
