See http://k1ea.com/download/index.htm#WINDOWS .  It says:  "CW keying does
not work on COM ports."

COM port and LPT port keying works fine in Win-Test<http://www.win-test.com>,
which more closely matches CT than anything else out there today, keystroke
for keystroke, color for color.  But it's not free and it doesn't support
most state QSO parties.
