Subject: Next Fourlanders Meeting


Hello everyone.  I would like to have an end of the year Fourlanders get
together after the Lawrenceville Hamfest on Saturday, November 3rd at 5 PM.
I have arranged for a private room at the No. 1 Chinese Super Buffet in
Lawrenceville.  No jokes about the name.  It is the only place I could find
with a private room available and it actually comes highly recommended.
Anyway, the address is 585 West Pike Street (Hwy 120) in Lawrenceville.  As
best I can remember, to get there you take Hwy 124 from the hamfest to Hwy
120.  Take a left on 120 and stay on 120 through the Lawrenceville downtown
square.  It is on the right just before Hurricane Shoals Rd.  If you reach
Hwy 316 you have gone too far, turn around.  Not the best directions but the
best I can do from memory.  If you need further directions you can call the
restraunt at 678-985-9058 or contact me and I will see if I can come up with
something better.  For those of you coming from out of town who need info.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. Eat and eyeball QSO.
2. Discuss September contest (results, key learnings, etc.)
3. Financial status of the club.  At the moment, club income is not enough
to even cover our yearly insurance cost.  For the last few years we have
been operating on the cushion left over from when we had a lot more members.
That cushion is now exhausted and something needs to be done before nest
year.
4. Appoint a nominating committee to generate a list of candidates for
directors and officers next year.
