My only concern is I am not sure I understand why we need 6 spaces. In the
past we got 19, 19A and 19B which are the three spaces at the top. In
addition we paid for an additional "4th space" at the top for Steve's camper
if he was there doing microwaves. We now need to get an additional space
for Paul to setup the kitchen. 18/18A or 20 would probably fit the bill for
that. So we are looking at 5 spaces max. I wouldn't get 17 unless there is
some reason for it that I am not aware of.

While we are on the subject of the paul's kitchen, we need to make sure Paul
knows our plans so he can begin preparing another wonderful menu for us and
get a head count.

As far as participation goes, I would like to suggest that we try to get as
many folks as we can together sometime in August to have a planning meeting
and see who is doing what. Huntsville might be a good choice but we are
already doing some SVHFS stuff there and other than yourself, Bob, Neal and
I, I am not sure who else will be there. Brian, Dick, Steve, Johnny are any
of you guys going to be in Huntsville? Shelby is another possibility since
just about everyone goes to that one (including me this year) but that is
only two weeks before the contest. My suggestions, your decision el
presidente!

> Greetings Fellow Fourlanders,
> I spoke with Driscal today & made reservations for September 12-15th,
> spaces 17, 18, 18A, 19, 19A & 19B. It is a good thing we contacted him; we
> apparently told him we wanted the first weekend in Sept.; the contest is
> always the second weekend of the month.
> Also, he & his wife will not be our hosts; the man who owns the sawmill
> will be there in Driscal's place. Point of note; Driscal said he had seen
5
> bears...TODAY.
> The rate is $12/site/day, so 12*6*4=$288.00 total for the weekend. The
> reservations are on the calendar, he requested a deposit of 50% = $144.00,
> or the entire amount.
> We need more participants so this won't be such an expensive venture this
