Gentlemen, we are still on go.

A minor glitch that we are working on here about getting the second
cargo trailer pulled up to the mountain, but we have a couple of
possibilities we are working on. Otherwise, things are in good shape
from all else I've heard.

The major convoy is planning to leave my house at 9AM on Friday
morning. We hope to meet up with WW8RR Ron around Clarksville or
Cornelia. We will be monitoring the Dahlonega Repeater 146.835 + T100
until we get past Clarksville where we lose it and then will just run
146.55 simplex on the way up.

We'll also try to have someone listening to monitor the Franklin NC
repeater 147.24 + T151.4 in case someone futher away is looking for us.
Anyone having a better memory of what we've used in the past, just post
it here.

We then stop at the SubWay in Maggie Valley and get ice in
that area before going up to the parkway. The SubWay has a good church
parking lot next to it so we can all get in there OK with the trailers.
I think we usually get to the SubWay around 1:30 or so as I remember.

Again I remind everyone that we don't have a cook this year and everyone
is responsible for their own meals, except for the Friday night Turkey
and fixings which Dick is bringing for those who sign up.
The Friday night list so far: Dick K5AND, Bob K4SZ, Jim W4KXY, Ron
WW8RR, Brian NX9O, Sherman W4ATL, Fred N4GER, Neal K4EA, Paul W4SKI, and
Mac K4RBM. A good crew for set-up.

We will have a Gas grill, a two-burner coleman stove (frying pan,
cooking pot, spoons, spatula), Microwave, crock pot, and Bunn Coffee
maker. I'm bringing 8 O'clock regular coffee for everyone who wants it.

If anyone can bring an extra outdoor type table for a picnic table under
the tent, we could use that. You also might want to bring outside
sitting chairs also. We probably have enough operating table chairs
now.

We expect more folks on Saturday: Greg W6IZT, Jim WE8W, Joe KF4TEN, Jim
K4LTD and maybe more.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the Mountain. 73 Bob

Let me know if I've forgotten anything!
