[Fourlanders] Contest Update

Good news all around:

Heard from Kim WG8S and he is able to come after all and will arrive 
sometime Saturday morning and stay until sometime Sunday afternoon.

We also have another visitor/operator coming:  Jim Balaun K4PZ who lives 
near me here is going to come along with us and also pull the small 
black tower trailer.  He is looking forward to meeting the rest of the 
group and having a look at VHF contesting, FourLanders style (and we do 
have style!!).  He will meet up with us in Cleveland for the convoy up. 
  Jim has been with us at W4QQ Field Day for the past several years.

Ivan and I have already loaded the white tower trailer into Great White 
so we are ready to go with that.  The antennas have been checked and 
loaded also, so I'm making good progress and don't forsee any more 
difficulties.

We still have room for more operators, if you are out there lurking and 
thinking about it!!!!!

To Jeff W0ONR:  Jim will be there for all meals and Kim for lunch & 
dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

To Jeff NY4N:  let me know if you are still planning to come and when 
you will be there if you want to get in on the meal plan!

To Paul W4SKI:  are you going to be able to make it?  let us know about 
meals (we KNOW you can eat!!)

Heading out to Shelby with W4KXY around noon on Thursday, if anybody 
needs anything from there, let us know or call me on the cell phone
