I "discovered" in our garage closet, my 8 element on 38' boom antenna that I
took to V31, J73 and XR0X.

It has an excellent pattern, and right at 11.4 dbd gain; F-B is 28 db. It
would make someone a very nice (and rugged) antenna. Heavy duty boom, boom
to mast bracket and overhead Dacron guys. It has 3/8 inch elements and uses
a split driven element with a hairpin and 50 ohm balun.
