I just wanted to let you guys know, before it is publicized to the masses,
that I have accepted the position as ARRL Technical Coordinator for Georgia.
This and my VUAC duties cover my two main areas of interest in amateur radio
VHF contesting and technical activities.  This is to replace K4KAZ who am
sure you all know passed away a few months ago.  One of my first tasks when
I officially start the job in a few weeks is going to be to beef up the
ranks of the Technical Specialists.  Technical Specialists are, as the name
says, specialist in one or more technical areas of amateur radio and provide
technical expertise to the Technical Coordinator.  I can already think of
two or three guys on this reflector who would be ideal candidates.  Be
generous of yourself when I come knocking.
