[Fourlanders] Annual Shelby VHF Cookout change of plans

Small correction on the UHF repeater frequency on site this Sat. 

It's 440.750+ (PL 141.3).

If for some reason the repeater is not on the air, a number of us Four
Landers will still be using the 440.750 frequency (and PL) as simplex
talk-around.

Gentlemen, there has been very little response to this years cookout at
the hamfest.  In consultation with Mike, we decided to cancel the
cookout for this year for several reasons.

HOWEVER..... Let's get together on both Friday and Saturday nights and
go out to dinner as a group.  We are suggesting that we go to the
Japanese Steak House (I don't remember the name, but it is the one on
the right, more East of the two that are next door on the bypass) on
Friday night and to Joe's Place downtown (on Lafayette) on Saturday
night.  We have been to these places before and the food is good and
reasonably priced.  Enough room to get a group of 10 or 12 together and
have good discussions and swap some serious lies along with the food and
drink.

Look for Bob W4ZST around the flea market on Friday.  My Blue Tahoe with
a roof rack will be somewhere in the flea market.  Leave a note on how
to get in touch with you if necessary. I'll try to monitor 144.300 FM
simplex and my cell phone is 770-654-4057 if you need that to find me. 
Mike will be in sometime in the afternoon and will set up out in the
camping field (past the Saturday morning tailgate area) as usual.

On Saturday, I can also be contacted through the WW8RR repeater on
440.759+ T141.3 that will be set up there for the day.  If I'm not on
it, someone who is will know the details or how to find me.

We'll try to put it together again next year as we do enjoy the
get-together.
