Shelby >  I plan to be there and I think WE8W is trying to make it.   I know NN4W is taking his trailer to sell in the flea market also.
 
Contest > I plan to have the new Icom 910H up and going for the 432 station as the 475H is not repaired yet.  But we still hold optimism that we can fix it. WE8W is planning to be at contest and also NN4W has said he will be there this time. Scott is a good CW man.

Speaking of hamfests, I received a brochure in the mail today about Shelby.
It will be on August 31st, September 1st and 2nd at the usual place.  I know
that a couple of us are planning to go to Huntsville a couple of weeks
before hand and I just wanted to find out who may be going to Shelby.  We
also need to talk about plans for September.  I know that Bob is in TX at
the moment attending Central States but it wouldn't hurt to get a sense of
the crowd.  It doesn't sound like we will have as big of a crowd in
September as we had in June.  Steve will not be there as well as Sherman and
Bill.  Something about blue grass concerts and football games that weekend.
Some folks just do not have their priorities straight.  Since Sherman will
not be there I will need more help on 6.  I hope that Paul and Kim can pull
up the slack there.  My first thought is we just go limited but if Bob wants
to take the microwave stuff again who am I to argue.  What does everyone
else think?
