Anyone looking for a six meter amplifier, these things are NICE and very
reasonably priced. I already have a six meter amplifier in this power range
but thought I would pass this along just in case someone else here was
thinking about getting on the "Magic Band".

Subject: [VHF] FS: SB-200 Converted to 6M

Offered for sale is one of my worldwide known conversions which I refer to
as the SB-206. Over 350 in service worldwide.

The conversion process removes all HF components and the RF portion is built
anew strictly for 6M. This is the only correct way to convert an amp if you
care about a decent signal and long tube life.

The tubes are brand new and they are HOT! Only 50W of drive for 750W out. It
was tested for a few moments at 100W drive and output was 900W; NOT
recommended for any reason except breaking something and having a poor
signal. Testing is done with a Bird 43 and a 3000W Bird dummy load.

The input is a Pi Network adjusted for a 1.1:1 VSWR from 50.0 to 50.5. Thru
VSWR with the amp off is below 1.2:1 thereby eliminating any VSWR foldback
in the transceiver.

Amp keying is done at 12V @ 2ma making it a perfect companion for any
transceiver or transverter.

Spectral purity has been checked with a HP 8590A Spectrum Analyzer.

Nothing is left to chance or guesswork in our conversions, I have over 43
years experience doing them across just about all makes. We will also
convert customer supplied amps.

Price in the Lower 48 USA is $750 UPS included. Email for a quote to other
locations; we ship worldwide.
