[Fourlanders] VHF Contest observations

This is usually true in June contest, and the more six opens, the less you  
see on other bands, to such an extent that when I've been on higher bands on 
the  mountain I've found myself hoping six would slow down for a while  so I 
could make some contacts.  Single ops get so excited  they don't want to move off 
six, even for a new grid on a higher  band.

I am  seeing a constant stream of comments via multiple reflectors pretty
much  confirming our thoughts of why activity on all other bands BUT 6
meters was  down. 

Because 6 meters was putting on such a consistent "show" the  entire
weekend, no one put in much time on any of the other bands except  for
Multi-op stations like us.
