[Fourlanders] Mile High Campground June and September

We should be able to put the 222 antenna up but just leave the hardline
rolled up until after he is gone Saturday morning. I hope that we can do
the same thing with the six meter trailer and antennas. What I am worried
about is that we have NO idea what this guy is going to have. If it is just
a truck or SUV then he should be able to get out with no problem but if it
is a big ass camper like Steve's......... If we have to wait until Saturday
morning to put the six meter trailer and antennas in place I don't see how
we can be on the air by 2 PM. What pisses me off about all of this by the
way is that I called Mile High a month ago and got a recording saying that
they would not be open and taking reservations until May 1st. So, I wait
and call today to find out that this guy has already made his reservation
and paid for the spot! So much for no reservations until May 1st!

Well, that also means we can't launch the 220 antennas either 'cause we
can't have the guy driving across the hard line going to the 220 tower.

Hope the guy does not mind a 15 KW generator roaring away Friday night in
the spot adjacent to him.........we need power Friday night to hook up
equipment and lighting so we can be testing what we DO set up.........or we
WILL be behind schedule come Sat. morning.

I called Mile High Campground today and made reservations for June and
September (thinking ahead). We have a problem for June that you all need to
be aware of. Some guy has already reserved the space we put the generator
in for that Friday night and refuses to move to another spot. He will be
leaving early Saturday morning. That adds two complications to what is
already a complicated enough operation but there is nothing we can do about
it. First, we are going to need to put the generator someplace temporarily
until Saturday morning. Preferably someplace so we can move it to its final
spot and hook it up quickly. Second, we are going to have to leave some way
for this guy to get out Saturday morning. As a result, I am not sure if we
are going to be able to put the six meter tower and antennas in place until
Saturday morning also. Frankly, I don't think the guy understands what he
is going to be in the middle of but he refuses to move to another spot so
this will be interesting.
