[Fourlanders] Claimed scores

As they say in real estate location, location, location. AA4ZZ is in the
north central part of NC in grid square EM96. That puts them a couple of
hundred miles closer to several hot beds of VHF activity. In addition, I
and some others are convinced that we are shadowed to the North by a range
of mountains that is preventing us from getting into some grids and cities
to the North of us. We don't see this on 6 much but it is very evident on
the higher bands. I believe that Ron posted some grid square maps on this
reflector that show this. We have been operating from Mile High for 10
years now in both good and bad conditions. Frankly, I think we have done
just about all that can be done from there. I am ready for a change myself
but that means we have to find another suitable location. Not an easy thing
to do. Just remember though that it was one of our members, K4RF, who found
mile high by accident so start looking and asking around.

Well... as I look over the scores, I'm wondering what happened. Had a great
time with you all, but how did AA4ZZ score twice as much as us?
