Thanks for posting this Bob. I might be interested in one or two of the
Bird slugs. I need to check and see what I have and need. The only other
things on the list that catch my eye are the Variac and the Oscilloscope.
If you will have those with you at the Lawrenceville hamfest this Saturday I
will give them a look and we can talk. See everyone at the hamfest.

Subject: [Fourlanders] Estate Sale Items

I'm putting this out on the FourLanders reflector first.

There are many items from the estate of K4KAZ that I am helping Pat try
to sell. I will have some of them at the Stone Mountain Hamfest and I
can bring any others that you may be interested in. I don’t have all
prices set yet, but will consider your offers and we can come up with a
fair amount for Pat.

Some of the very nice items:

1. Fred’s Bird Wattmeter set-up:
Bird 43 in a Permanex carrying case with the following slugs and
accessories:
HF elements: 250H, 1000H
25-60MHz: 5A, 10A, 25A, 250A, 500A
50-125MHz: 2500B
100-250MHz: 5C, 10C, 25C, 25C, 100C, 250C
200-500MHz: 5D, 5D, 10D, 25D, 50D
400-1000MHz: 5E, 100E
BNC output Sampling Slug, 25-1000MHz, 50dB, 500W max

5W Bird loads, 1N, 1BNC
HP BNC loads, 50 and 75 ohm
larger N load, probably at least 100W
Bird thruline attenuator, 20dB, 25W, BNC
2 N jumpers

BOX OF ADAPTORS:
3 ea dbl banana, 3 ea BNC-F, 2 ea F barrel, F coupling
BNC: Tee, 3 ea barrel, 2 ea coupling, BNCm-PHONOf, 5 ea BNCm-UHFf
UHF: 7 ea UHFm-BNCf, 5 ea barrel, coupling, right angle, UHFf-PHONOm
N: Nf-SMAm, barrel, coupling, 3 ea Nm-BNCm, Nf-BNCm, 4 ea Nm-BNCf, 6ea
Nm-UHFf, Nm-UHFm, 3ea Nf-UHFm

This is a lot of slugs and they usually go for about $60 and up each
used. This would make a nice wattmeter and accessory kit for someone,
but I will consider taking out some of the slugs separately for those
who need specific ones. This would make the kit still very useful and
less expensive. let’s deal on this. It will make a nice field kit for
someone with all the adaptors and such. All this is in the case.

2. Fred’s nice TechniTool Field Engineers tool kit in a permanex case,
swing wing and pallets:

Too many tools to describe. It is a TechiTool 7630 about 10 years old.
Lots of Xcelite stuff, Nutdrivers, screwdrivers, allens, torx, etc.
Pliers, wrenches, ¼” socket set, soldering iron, desoldering iron,
solder gun, LCD multimeter. I have replaced the broken latches with
cabinet latches that hold securely. This is a nice set of tools that
sold for 525, now about 700 for the same kit. Should be worth at least
$250 for someone.

3. Bird 4352 InLine Wattmeter, 40/400W, Fwd/Ref, 50-150 MHz, UHF conns.
A nice wattmeter for 6 and 2 meters, switches select range and
function. Should be worth $100

4. Radios: Make offer if interested. Kenwood TS-2000, Kenwood TS-680,
Kenwood TS-850, Icom R1000, Icom IC701, Icom IC271 (2 meter all-mode
25W). Fred bought the TS-2000 new and it has hardly been used.

5. Amps: same deal. AM6155 not converted, Mirage D1010, Mirage B1016

6. Drake W4 Wattmeter. 200/2000W, fwd/rev, UHF conns, remotable line
section, HF to 6m, $75

7. 2 Astron RS-35 linear power supplies. $110 each

8. Heil Proset HC5 with foot switch

9. Johnson Speed-X straight key with weighted base. One of my
favorites
. you need one too!

10. MFJ 262 dummy load

11. Bird 300 W dummy load

12. Kenwood desk mikes: MC80, MC85

13. Handheld multimeters: Fluke 75, Knight K-290

14. 110 V Variac (probably 10A)

15. M2 Two meter, four way power divider

16. M2 yagi 432-9WL, 21’, 28 element, a great 432 yagi. $100

17. Dremel tool, vise, panavise

18. Untold amounts of hardline and coax. let me know what you need.

19. 2 rack cabinets, full height, closed sides, one w/wheels

and now the TEST EQUIPMENT!

20. Millivac RF millivoltmeter URM145B/ME246C. -50dBm to +20dBm, with
probe

21. Heathkit V7A VTVM, a classic

22. HP 410B VTVM

23, HP 5221A, frequency counter

24. Heathkit PS4, power supply

25. MultiPhase MM1 scope, a classic!

26. Knight Tube tester

27. Radio Shack 210 frequency counter, 1Hz-130MHz?

28. 2 ea. Edsyn 951 temp controlled soldering stations

29. 2 ea. Weller WTCP soldering stations

30. HP 8565A Spectrum Analyzer to 22 GHz

31. Tektronix 2235 O’scope 100 MHz

And this is just the stuff I’ve seen and listed. There is more. Let me
know if you are interested in anything and we'll deal.

73, Bob W4ZST
