[Fourlanders] contest update

Well, thanks for all the prompt replies on the food.  Things are still 
looking good.  I did some trailer work today and got some stuff done 
here along with some items inventoried.

Got replies on IT stuff from Scott.  All under control.

There are two 6' white plastic tables and two 4' brown wood top tables 
in GW ready to go.  These are the same we used in June.  I think Scott 
and Jim brought other tables that we used for cooking and eating and we 
will need those again and if someone else has a table that we can use 
for cooking and eating it would be appreciated as we have a good number 
of folks coming.  I also have my shelter tent and I'm sure Scott is also 
bringing his again.  There are 6 wheeled office chairs in GW right now 
and that may be all the room we have in there anyway for chairs.  Do 
bring camping chairs for sitting outside and we have a big group as you 
will see.

Antennas, feed line, masts, rotators, etc have been inventoried and are 
in GW or on the way.

As for the food:  Here is the list

There are NINE of us who will be there from start to finish:  W4KXY, 
NN4W, W4ZST, WW8RR, K4RBM, W0ONR, N4NIA and Sherry and I just got word 
that Jim WE8W will also be joining us for the entire time just like in 
June.  So that's the NINE.

In addition we have KI4US, N4AC and KI4FUE and two small harmonics 
convoying up and with us from Friday to Sunday afternoon.

Paul W4SKI is coming for Friday and Saturday dinners and all day Sunday.

Kos and Sherry's daughter and son-in-law will be with us for all three 
meals on Saturday.  They will camp out part of the time too.  Kos is 
getting him interested in Ham Radio and they are coming to check it out.

Tom K4TJD will be with us all day Saturday and for Sunday morning. 
Looking forward to meeting Tom when he comes up.

Kim WG8S will be with us as usual for sure from Saturday lunch till 
Sunday supper, but is trying to work it out to come on up on Friday 
evening and will let me know when he works out the plans.

Saturday night chef Dean K2JB will be there Saturday night cooking chili 
and cherry cobbler for us and will also be here for breakfast on Sunday 
morning.

We also have Wey K8EAB coming to camp and operate from Friday till 
Sunday morning, but he is bringing his own food.  Bet he will wish he 
had thrown in with us before it's all over!!

So the current count for meals is:

Friday supper - 13
Sat breakfast - 15
Sat lunch     - 16
Sat supper    - 18 (and Dean may bring some other friends too)
Sun breakfast - 16
Sun lunch     - 15
Sun supper    - 11
Mon breakfast - 9

This is the largest group we've ever had up there for sure and 
especially the Saturday night chili supper with 18+.  Now we know how to 
  bring in a big group... FOOD!!

Let me know of any changes ASAP so we can get proper counts to our two 
chefs for all these meals.

We will get together here on Saturday or Sunday this weekend to load 
more stuff into GW and check out the generator.  Anyone is welcome to 
come by then.  I will e-mail the day and time when we get it set up.

BTW, we also plan on eating lunch Friday afternoon at the Subway in 
Maggie Valley as usual.  Paul will try to join us there too.
