[Fourlanders] another question for the brain trust

Well, if I wasn't traveling and using a PDA, I'd be more informative. But
keep in mind that some RFI is radiated, and snooping with the 817 is a fine
idea. But it is also conducted through the AC mains, and will couple nicely
to other receptors. Filtering is sometimes the answer, and sometimes
difficult, what with all of the resrtictions on leakage current and other AC
parameters. When I stop traveling, I'd be happy to help anyone with RFI
issues.

actually, I did mix between the 2 types, but there are electronic ballasts
for the tube fixtures and then there's the compact FL (CFL) bulb
replacements to the normal screw in bulbs. there are now even dimmable CFL
bulbs to replace incandesent screw in bulbs.
I have seen the CFL replacement be bad and not bad in ters of interference.
same with the FL tube ballasts of the electronic variety.
