Hello everyone. A couple of things:
First, I will be running a WSJT (FSK441) sched with K5QE tonight at 9 PM on
50.268. If you want to "listen" in on a WSJT QSO you can download the
software and install it. All you need to do then is make a connection
between the audio output of your rig (most of the newer rigs have an audio
line out on the back) and the line in of your computer. Run WSJT and set it
up per the documentation included in the download. The most important thing
is to adjust the RX audio level until WSJT shows 0dB with just noise and
make sure your clock is correct. I mean plus or minus one second correct.
Easy to do now with internet time servers. Tune to 50.268, select FSK441
for the mode (F7) and click the monitor button on the WSJT screen. Let me
know here on the reflector if you are able to hear and decode my signal.
Second, I want to remind everyone that I will be collecting money on the
mountain for dues (if you haven't already paid), the cost of the camp site
and the cost of the generator fuel we use so please be prepared to pay your
share of these expenses on the mountain. In the past this hasn't been more
than $30 - $40 per person plus $30 for the dues. I would like to ask
everyone to bring cash if possible. It just makes things easier on me when
I pay the campground, etc. If you do need to write a check that is OK but
please make it out to the Fourlanders. If you make it out to me personally
then I have to cash it and then write my own check to the Fourlanders making
more work for me. Jeff will be collecting money for the food separately and
I don't know what his policies are. Thank you for your cooperation.

you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong.
