Hello everyone.  I arrived at the Waynesville Country Club Inn at 3:30 just in time for the rain to start.  When I went to the pro shop they said don't worry about it.  It would stop in an hour or so and they would get me out on the course.  Sure enough it stopped raining in about an hour and by 5 the sun was shining.  They said that this has been the weather pattern here for the past several weeks so be sure to come prepared to deal with wet weather in the afternoon.  It is also very cool.  I actually got a bit chilly while playing.  It will be 10 -15 degrees colder on the mountain so come prepared for cold and wet weather.  As far as the Inn and Golf Course is concerned, this place is f---ing awesome!  The course is a bit short (6000 yards from the blue tees) but is very well maintained and in good condition.  It was a bit wet and soggy in places but that is to be expected with the weather they have been having here.  The inn is very nice to.  You can tell that it is an older building but it has been well maintained and rennovated.  I guess the only other thing I can say is the combination of golf and ham radio has left me almost giddy!  I would highly recommend this place and I will probably come back in September.  See you guys tomorrow.
