Subject: [Mw] Anyone interested?

Before I start this monumental project I figured I might check to see
if anyone here on the east coast would like to buy a 50' Mesh Sat dish.
I just bought this and I am realizing that it might be more than I can
handle ( once again ...eyes bigger than stomach thing). As I get older
I am learning more and more that I ain't what I used to be. I have been
researching cutting it down ( which I might), but in my eyes it would be
criminal ...so I will try to sell it first ...at what it cost me. This
is a 50' Telstar all aluminum mesh dish ...16 ribs (3 pieces per rib),
was a prototype for the company owner and was finished about 90%. All
ribs are there and enough mesh for the 1st 2 rib sections (About 29ft
dish worth), has all rings and materials to make remaining outer ones.
It also has a massive 800+ pound AZ EL mount that will fit on your
tower/base. All hardware (nuts and bolts, clips etc are all stainless )
At 50' the f/d is about .385 from what I measured. Can be put up as a
29+ ft with f/d of .62 and later extended to 50' Dia. As a 50' dish it
need only additional mesh (screen) as all the rest is there except for
the time.

Anyway, if not sold I might put it up as the smaller. but I would really
like to see the full potential in use. Dish is now dis-assembled and in
SC ...near Charlotte NC) It cost me $2667 with the freight shipping
from west coast (OR). Will sell for $2600 ( Pick up price) ... and
there is more than $2000 scrap alum here. ( And I will look for
something my body can handle easier).

Thanks,
Pete WA2ODO
