Everything is still on go and no problems have been reported.
List of participants/food list:
Operators/Eaters for the entire time: 13
Tom K4TJD, Bill KI4US, Randal N4AC, Ron WW8RR, Kos N4NIA, Sherry, Scott
NN4W, Brian NX9O, Jeff W0ONR, Sherman W4ATL, Bob W4ZST, Ivan K4VJM and
Skip K5AWC.
Part timers: 4
Jim WE8W will miss Friday evening dinner, but there for the duration.
Jim W4KXY will leave after breakfast Sunday morning.
Paul W4SKI will be there until Sunday evening.
Kim WG8S will be with us all day Saturday and Sunday.
I made this up from Jeff's list that you have responded to so
if there is anything different than this list, please let Jeff know
ASAP. Jeff is driving his car up again, so there is no issue about
picking him up. He will bring excess stuff to my house Thursday night
to go in Great White as no normal vehicle could carry enough food for
our group! Jeff was bitten by a cat and is still recovering from an
infected and swollen finger so we all need to volunteer to help out some
with the kitchen and clean-up duties.
All the trailers are accounted for and have pullers. The only folks who
need to come to the W4ZST QTH on Friday morning are Ron to pick up the
generator trailer, Bill to tow BlackHawk and Brian to bring the
generator and then tow Great White. I will be pulling my trailer with
the golf cart. If others want to wait to join up with us you could wait
at the Dahlonega Home Depot Parking lot or the Cavender Creek Baptist
Church parking lot if you come that far. We will be on the repeater
when we get moving.
Can't think of anything else for now. Let me know if anyone has any
issues or something I've forgotten.
Bob
As usual, we'd like to try to leave here at 9AM if at all possible. We
can rendezvous on the way with others, using the Dahlonega repeater
146.835+ T100 until we are all in 146.55 simplex range. The repeater is
good up to Tallulah Falls.
I finished and tested new masts and standoffs for the 6m omni's today
and they look nice and tested OK. Easier to put together and more
clearance between the lower antenna and support mast.
