Oh, and the CAT vs RTS also explains the mysterious open mic on th FT-847
With RTS asserted for 'data PTT', no open mic. so no radio rework required...
Now to find a way to have HRD assert RTS for data transmission...
here I go tilting at yet another windmill. dang software guys.
