The Ham Jam is being put on by the North Fulton Amateur Radio League and the
Southeastern DX Club.  It's free and being held at Georgia Institute of
Technology there in Atlanta.  They are going to have a couple of speakers
coming in that are going to talk about contesting and such.  I thought I
would go check it out.  There is a website:

Many of the W4NH group and I will be at the hamfest in Stone Mountain.  We
usually get several spots in the tail gate area and hang out there.  We have
a banner that we usually put up so look for that.  I don't know about ham
jam.  What is that?  Yes, we will be on the air in January from W4ZST's QTH
near Dahlonega, GA.  If you talk nice to Bob, W4ZST you might convince him
to put 902/3 and 1296 on the air.

Hi Jim,

 

Got a couple of questions for you.

 

#1  Are you going to be at either the Stone Mountain Hamfest or the Ham Jam
2010 there in Atlanta?  I will be at both and would love to shake your hand
and say hello in person.

 

#2  Are you and the crew planning to be active in the upcoming January
contest?  I ask because I am working on my preliminary rover plans for the
contest.  I will be in the Rover Limited category again, but will have
900mhz and possibly 1296 to hand out extra points to others.  I will be
submitting a check log with those qso's.
