Compare it to the Pan adapters on the K2 and other rigs.  Look at what SDRs
are doing today with color waterfall displays, etc.  Yaesu really screwed up
on the DMU IMHO.  Too many gadgets like logbook, world map, etc. and not
enough useful features like a color pan adapter with waterfall.  Anyway, I
dumped the DMU (already sold it and got most of my money back out of it!) so
I am now looking for something to replace it and this dongle thing is
looking better and better.

Check this out.  I am wondering if this might be the solution I have been
looking for to add a pan adapter to the FT2000 replacing the POS DMU.  Any
thoughts?
