[Fourlanders] Fwd: [nfarl] Southeast USA high power 70cm station needed to assist with satellite

Unfortunately I've only completed the planning and the computer to rotator 
control, and it's not ready. I won't be picking up my material for the frames 
until next week. It'll be capable of tracking an LEO when it's complete, so that 
wouldn't be a problem. The earliest it could realistically be ready would be New 
Year's weekend.

I am not sure of the status of this request, but the largest EME arrays
would likely be too slow to track a "LEO".

We have the 432 hardware and antennas.

Kos, is your AZ/EL array support for EME ready to go? Do you think it could
track a LEO?

If they do not have a ground station yet, should we try to setup at Bob's
and see if we can help?

Ideas or Comments?

If you're like me & don't go to qrz.com very often, you might not have seen
this. They need someone within driving distance from Birmingham to assist.
A ham would need to come to your station and attempt to bring up the ailing
satellite.
