That is impressive. I wonder how the part reacts at 144, 222 or 432
MHz? It seems the video was done at 10MHz.

Looking at www.nxp.com/pip/BLF578XR.htm it is rated for 10-500MHz.

Am I reading the spec's of this part correctly? It seems to say 26db
gain, 1000W out at 50VDC. So for 1KW it only needs to be driven with
about 2.5 watts?

Does anyone have any idea on pricing and availability?
