I agree with the donation.

I would also like to propose another idea that would serve to recognize Steve. 
As one on the founding members of the Fourlanders, I think it would be fitting 
to acquire his callsign for use by the club in perpetuity. If a family member 
doesn't request it, it becomes available as a vanity call in three years, and 
someone will certainly acquire it.

With family approval, the FCC will allocate it to a club without a three year 
wait. It's a fine callsign, and I think it would be a proper replacement for 
W4NH. I would think the family would endorse the idea given what amateur radio 
and the Fourlanders has represented to Steve...

Hello everyone.  I assume that everyone knows of Steve K4RF passing last
Friday.  Steve was one of the original founders of the Fourlanders and as
such I would like to make a motion that the Fourlanders send a donation of
$100 in Steve's name to the Habersham County Rotary Club Scholarship Fund
(this was the named charity in his obituary).  We presently have a cash
balance of $735 with future expected expenses for the remainder of the year
of $320 for insurance and $150 for QSL cards.  I would like a second first
and then any yeas or nays.  Brian, please record the results of this vote in
the corporate records.  Thanks.
